rchitecture is poetry. Architectural design associates forms into new meanings. It is a constant remodeling of our ideas to adapt to structural materials, human dreams and ways of life. The work of an architect is seen in his ability to understand the laws of nature, the character of people and their needs. To ask the questions, What is a house? What is a home? is to ask the client, the architect and the builder to be poets. How do we integrate our lives and our dreams within the practical rhythms of nature, lifestyle and a built environment? How do we understand family as a part of this rhythm? How do we respond to the needs of a family within the idioms of architecture?
